Where I'm From from the rice of the heart of Mekong Delta and the Red River. I am from the little house with a garden full of astounding flowers, a small room filled with giant lovely teddy bears. I am from the peace-looking water lilies, and the remarkably beautiful rose.
I am from having meals together and unity, from father and mother and sister. I am from the persistence and never giving up, despite difficulties. From respectful behavior shown to elder people, and life which has fairness and is full of miracles.
I am from the beautiful lotus which symbolizes Buddhism, embodies peace, calmness and enlightenment. I am from the “S”-shaped country, where Pho and Banh mi represent the tradition of my warm home. From cooking for the daughters of the brave and perfect father, the forgiveness and kindness of mother, and the lovely and connected sister. I am from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, where we left footprints of love, laughter and unfading childhood memories of family along the shores.
