Does your article pass the CRAAP test?
An extremely important part of the research process is evaluating your sources. For each source, you want to answer questions such as:
- Is it current enough or is the date not important?
- Is it relevant to your research topic?
- Who is the author and what is their expertise and authority in the topic area?
- Does the information look accurate? How can you tell?
- What is the purpose of the information. Is the information biased? How can you tell?
