Websites with Public Domain Images and Clipart
From the site owner: "I offer my pictures under Creative Commons Zero so you can create awesome work without needing to spend a dime. This means you can freely use my pictures for personal or commercial projects without any strings attached. I don’t require any attribution, but it is always appreciated ;) The only common sense limitations I have are that you can’t use any of my images for pornographic, criminal, defamatory or degrading purposes and you can’t build your own free stock photo website using my images. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me."
From the website: "Openclipart may be used for any purpose, including unlimited commercial productions, as royalty-free clipart, for schools, churches, commercial and non-commercial reasons. The Openclipart community believes that clipart should be removed of as many restrictions as humanly possible so that the clipart may spread as far and wide as un-imaginable. If in doubt, use our clipart. The following chart explains clearly common uses we allow, which is all uses."
This site has several images in the public domain which do not require attribution. Unfortunately, it also contains Shutterstock images which are not in the public domain. The Shutterstock images are watermarked.

From the website:
I am Jeshu John from a port city, Kochi, in southern India.
As a web designer & developer I always face the challenge for the lack of quality free photographs. This is an initiative from my end to provide free photographs to one who is in need of photographs. Also I would like to mention that this is an ongoing project and will keep adding new pictures every day.
Please note all these photographs are captured by me and you can use them for your personal and commercial works absolutely free.
I would really appreciate if you would give attribution, but not a necessity.
If you have any suggestions/comments please let me know at firstname.lastname@example.org or @jeshujohn"
