Evaluating Web Sites

The nature of this assignment makes evaluating your sources incredibly important. Ask yourself:

*Who wrote this information? (Authority)

*When was the information created and have things changed since it was written? (Currency)

*What are the biases of the author/organization sharing the information? (Authority/Purpose)

*Does the author tell you what sources they used? (Reliability)

*Why does the source exist? (Purpose)

If you have questions about the credibility of a source, please email Haley (haley.benjamins@edcc.edu)
