Communication journals in the databases

Communication journals on the web

These journals have a limited number of open access (freely available) articles. When you do a keyword search within the journal, you will get articles that require subscribing or paying. To find the free articles, under Access Type, select "Only Show Open Access."

Search the library databases

If you cannot find useful articles in any of the communication journals? Try searching any of the multidisplinary databases in the library's collection.

Try Google Scholar

Google Scholar Search

Can't find the full text of an article?

If you find an article but only have access to the title, author, publication information and Abstract (or summary), don't despair!  A Librarian can submit a request to other libraries (called Inter Library Loan) for a copy of the full article.  It could take up to a week (or more) for the article to arrive so the sooner you put in your request, the sooner you will get the article. Go to this page for help requesting an article.
