General Information

All study rooms and specialty study rooms are for use by Edmonds College students only.

Students can book one reservation per day, with a maximum of two hours per day and a maximum of four hours per week.

Reservations can be made using the study room reservations page, one of the room reservation computer stations in the library, or in-person with a librarian at the Reference Desk. Reservations can be booked up to a week in advance.

Specialty Study Rooms

Presentation Practice Room (Room 415A)

  • For Edmonds College students who need to prepare and practice their individual or group presentation. 
  • Equipped with a PC, a large monitor to enable students to project slides, a remote for the monitor, a smaller monitor and mouse.

Recording Room (Room 415B)

  • For Edmonds College students who need to create videos for class assignments.
  • Equipped with a monitor, PC, webcam, keyboard and mouse

Content Creation Room

  • For Edmonds College students who need to conduct online interviews or create videos, presentations, or podcasts for class assignments.
  • Equipped with a monitor, PC, USB microphone, HD webcam, photography backup lighting kit, tripod with cell phone and webcam attachments, and shooting light tent for still photography.

NOTE: To access the specialty rooms listed above, students must check in with the librarian at the reference desk and show their EdPass or a picture ID. Students will not be able to use these rooms without some form of picture ID.
